Hello, and welcome to the Crafts in Progress blog!

I started this blog to share the projects I’m working on, and some tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way. The name is a reference to the common WIP (work in progress) abbreviation used on most crafting websites. I’ll try to post pictures of my crafts in progress (duh!) as well as the finished result. I’ll also write about what techniques I’ve used and about the materials I’ve used.

My mom taught me to knit when I was about 6 or 7, and since then I’ve continued to teach myself new techniques through books and videos. I entirely taught myself crocheting from books and videos. Most of my paper crafting is done with my Cricut Explore machine.

I hope you enjoy reading Crafts in Progress! If you have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to email me at kathleen@craftsinprogress.com
